I couldn’t agree more.

I couldn’t agree more.

I could listen to Jenna talk all day. Her voice is so lovely.

Jenna is everything. Do you hear me? EVERYTHING.

The Office

I crush hard on Jenna Lyons. So I was more than happy to get a glimpse into her office at J.Crew courtesy of a new book, “Habitually Chic: Creativity at Work,” by photographer Heather Clawson.

Coveting her pink lacquered desk.

The luggage-as-furniture is a nice touch.

Gawd, what I wouldn’t do to get my hands on those suitcases. They’re fabulous.

The blouse, the pants, the shoes. Killer.

Behind the Seams →

On J.Crew’s official Tumblr, 770 Behind The Line, Jenna Lyons explains the inspiration behind her fabulous Met Gala ensemble.

I knew I was right about the shocking pink skirt!

Pretty in Pink

I’ve just seen these photos of Jenna Lyons at this year’s Met Gala and, as usual, she looks fantastic.

Two points for incorporating one of Schiaparelli’s signature colors: shocking pink.

Ultimately, fashion is all about gut anyway. There’s no science to what this should look like or that should look like or how many times you can redraw that or resketch that or redo that catalogue cover. The fact of the matter is, either it grabs you or it doesn’t.

Sold!

Y’all know I worship at the alter of Jenna Lyons, so when I read that her Park Slope townhouse sold after five months on the market, I thought, “What a great excuse to post photos!”

The seven-bedroom, 3.5-bath home reportedly garnered seven percent more than the asking price. (It’s listed at $3.75 million.) Amenities include aged pine floors, seven restored limestone mantels, a large private terrace off the master bedroom, and a cellar that has been converted to a media room for entertaining.

Isn’t it lovely?
